Privacy Policy

Pair5 stores your email address (required for logging in) and the game data required to play matches with other users. This means registering the round answers and timestamps when a game round is played.

A cookie is used to allow authentication, the service will not work without this cookie.

Your email address and your display name are not searchable to other users. Therefore, to initiate a match with new users, the user who creates the match must share a match invite token outside of the Pair5 service, to connect with other users. Once you have at least one match in common with a user, they can see your display name. However, no user can ever see your email address.

There are no third party tracking scripts or libraries in Pair5. Only the data necessary to make the service itself work, is stored.

The answers a user submits may be used to gain insight into the average scores or average response times of certain chapters of categories. In such cases, the data will be anonymized and aggregated with the data of other users, and will therefore not be connected to any specific user.
